If she stays closed off, less can harm her. She lives for her art, and being able to tattoo in the same building she lives in makes life more comfortable for her. She's happy with the way things are. Until Vachs. From the moment they meet, there are sparks in more ways than one. He may save her from a potentially deadly moment, but what she doesn't know is she saves a little piece of him. Together they have to sort out what's going on and who is trying to make trouble for her and the MC. What they start to unravel, goes on to be bigger than any of them expected. Can they make things work between them, or is it just the adrenaline talking? You have to read it to find out! I've always been curious about Hadley and how her life would change as she grew after being introduced to her in Depay's book. I loved their journey and where they ended up. It was an intense and beautiful story! The way Vachs really shows her that she's just the same as anyone else got my heart. I think I melted onto the floor! I found myself squealing in delight or yelling at my kindle more than once. It's so well done and I'm so excited to see what the heck happens in the next book!!!!!!
