About this eBook

The much anticipated final book in the Travis series, Brown-Eyed Girl, from beloved author Lisa Kleypas

Wedding planner Avery Crosslin may be a rising star in Houston society, but she doesn't believe in love-at least not for herself. When she meets wealthy bachelor Joe Travis and mistakes him for a wedding photographer, she has no intention of letting him sweep her off her feet. But Joe is a man who goes after what he wants, and Avery can't resist the temptation of a sexy southern charmer and a hot summer evening.

After a one night stand, however, Avery is determined to keep it from happening again. A man like Joe can only mean trouble for a woman like her, and she can't afford distractions. She's been hired to plan the wedding of the year-a make-or-break event.

But complications start piling up fast, putting the wedding in jeopardy, especially when shocking secrets of the bride come to light. And as Joe makes it clear that he's not going to give up easily, Avery is forced to confront the insecurities and beliefs that stem from a past she would do anything to forget.

The situation reaches a breaking point, and Avery faces the toughest choice of her life. Only by putting her career on the line and risking everything-including her well-guarded heart-will she find out what matters most...

I love all of Lisa Kleypas books..Her style of writing is wonderful. However, I loved the Travis series. I was so looking forward to this book. I felt the book was lacking alot. I was actually annoyed with the heroine in this book. What girl with a brain pushes away a hot, rich, charming, funny and great in bed guy away? She was very wishy washy. I was more interested in the side love story going with her sister than hers.I would love for the series to continue! This book didnt have much of an ending.

Truly disappointed. Loved the first three and was excited to hear Joe's story. This whole story was formulaic. I love Lisa Kleypas' books. But this was not worth the wait or money. Joe was two dimensional and much of this seemed like an afterthought instead of a great end to the first three fun Travis stories. I would have given only two stars, but I still love LK!

From beginning to end, the book gives you moments of uplifting joy from the romance and witty banter of the characters you can't help but to emotionally bond with. To heart-wrenching suspense and drama that also fills their lives. "Brown-Eyed Girl" made me feel like I had been watching a novela or romantic comedy rather than reading a book. Lisa Kleypas did a very good job of making her characters realistic, loveable, and memorable. I highly recommend this book to anyone. Whether you're a fan of the genre or not.
