This is one of my favorite series. If you are a paranormal fan who likes a solid ongoing storyline that is packed with action and suspense - highlighting powerful characters that are easy to connect with all taking place in a well-crafted world This is the series for you Truly - You just can't beat a grumpy possible guardian angel, a vampy polar bear hybrid and an Egyptian blessed vampire, oh and a Viking werewolf (but he is another story) And let us not forget the strong stubborn fabulously fun women who tamed them I think this might be my favorite in the series to date. Morrigan and a not so happy Maccus make an appearance attempting to help Asher figure out who is messing with the Forgotten - Then add into the medley a sassy vampire huntress who seems to be the reference point for all the current chaos - An angry presence that looms just out of reach - Oh and a bounty on the above-mentioned huntress' head- And you have the perfect recipe for fast-paced, action-packed suspense. And a seriously smokin' hot fatal attraction Poor Jo, she never got a break! She also never backed down. I do have all kinds of questions though - Who tried to get her to swing the sword - Was it really him that put out the contract - If so why? - Where is wolfy? I know those questions and more will be answered as the series progresses and the wait will be worth it - Until then... #BurningAsh #NetGalley

Wow, I devoured this book!!!! It may seem you are getting another story of a vampire and vampire hunter in love, but this is SO MUCH MORE! Asher’s background is nearly legendary, he is legendary, and what he feels for Jo reaches well beyond all that. Jo thinks she knows how the world works, but she quickly learns so knows so little, but her past has prepared her for this future. A deep connection, heat off the charts, lots of fun and wit, and a new *cough* friend you just know is in for some upcoming adventure. Love the pace, loved the story, loved the characters, loved it all!

Forgotten Brotherhood #3 I always love a snarky badass female character. Jo Radcliffe is definitely that. “I’ll drink you dry and bathe in your blood.” “Promises, promises,” she mocked. “And kinda hard to do both. You’ll have to pick one.” Asher is a ancient vampire. Unseen forces have drawn then together. “Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t pull the trigger.” “Bloodstains are hard to get out of carpet.” I love this series with its paranormal assassins that protect innocents. But someone powerful is messing with the Brotherhood. The best part of this story is the characters interaction and snarky comebacks that keep the pages flowing. Plus a super sexy romance. “The great and scary leader of the Brotherhood is making an appearance. Should I feel honored?” Still naked as the day he was born, Bjorn crossed his arms over his chest and glared. I want to see Bjorn get his own book next. The poor man deserves a HEA!! I received a copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley for my honest review.
