**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review** I've become a fan of Marci Bolden over the last year and this series definitely is my favorite of hers so far. I loved the first book in "The Women of Hearts" series and I was anxiously awaiting this one and it certainly did not disappoint! Eva Thompson is a former cop and one of the PI's at HEARTS. When a new case comes in and Eva fits the description of the victims, it's determined she'll embed at the condo building to try to get closer to the residents to gather clues and possible evidence. The only problem is that it is also determined that she needs backup and the thing that makes the most sense is making her half of a couple, however she recently broke up with Josh, her former boyfriend because he didn't believe in her and her abilities as a PI. Josh Simmons is the coroner and he works with the ladies at HEARTS quite a bit. Not only that, but he and Eva recently ended their relationship, even though that was the last thing he wanted. He's still in love with her and would do anything to get her back. Knowing that Eva needs help, Josh is more than willing to move in with his former girlfriend, not only to help her catch the culprit, but also to be able to spend more time with her and maybe find a way to get her back. The case that Eva and Josh caught kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Eva was definitely a woman to be reckoned with and Josh was one of those guys that was willing to put himself in danger for the woman he loves. Marci Bolden did a great job of crafting a story that not only kept me guessing, but the twists and turns, along with all of the layers were fantastic. I'm so looking forward to the next book in this series as I'm certain it will be just as good as the first two.

4.25⭐This is the second book in Marci Bolden's The Women of HEARTS series and it's a cracker. As it has mystery, twists, turns and a little action. Not to mention a terrific cast of female characters. Who are all well written and likable, and the plot line itself was nicely crafted and engrossing. Plus, it had a good balance between the mystery of the voyeur and Josh and Eva's romance; and I was hooked throughout. So much so, I found it extremely hard to put down. And I would happily recommend it to others. **I was kindly provided with an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**
