A simple guide, not covering all species, but the most common are well illustrated, with salient information clearly given. The identification features described also enable one to assign other mystery sightings to a family with reasonable confidence, simplifying full identification once back home with access to comprehensive ID guides. Pace Ross's earlier review, I have had no difficulty downloading this and companion works to my Android phone. While I had a wifi connection, I opened the book, then opened the Menu, and ticked Keep on Device. It might then be wise to leaf through the book to ensure it has all been downloaded before breaking the wifi connection.

As above. I wish that had been stated clearly. I can look at the book but only if I have a phone signal. It's a very good book but the fact I cannot seem to download it makes it 1 star.
