Chawadi and Awaz are the periodicals written in this period and they have two separate compartments. Even though the latter is different, the social commitment form will always be seen in both the parts. People in the village should see that they should talk straight and they should not go under any pressure. After all, as a man gets in the middle class, all his intentions are narrowed like a turtle. Awake joke (the words of humor seem insignificant) to be ridiculous. Many of these feel upset It is also a reminder that how much society is in your society.
‘चावडी’ आणि ‘जागल्या’ हे वेळोवेळी केलेले स्तंभलेखन असून ते सरळ दोन कप्पे आहेत. तोंडवळा भिन्न असला, तरी सामाजिक बांधिलकीचे सूत्र दोन्ही भागांत कायम दिसेल. जागल्या’चा तोंडवळा हा तसा गावरानी ढंगातला. लेखकाच्या लहानपणापासून हा जागल्या त्यांच्या मनात दडून बसलेला आहे. मनात येईल ते सरळ बोलावे, कुणाच्याही दबावाखाली वावरू नये, अशी माणसे त्यांनी खेड्यात पाहिलेली. पुढे माणूस जसा मध्यम वर्गात येत जातो, तसे त्याच्या सर्वच वृत्ती कासवाच्या अवयवासारख्या आकुंचित होतात. जागल्याचा विनोद (विनोद शब्द अपुरा वाटतो) उपहास म्हणायला हवा. हा अनेकांना बोचरा वाटतो. आपले समाजमन किती बंदिस्त आहे, याचीही प्रचीती येत जाते.
