I read the free sample, or about as much of it as I could stomach. I'd rather not have to subjugate myself to the ideas the heroine has, reading from her point of view made me feel like garbage. she's obviously to biased to be a psychologist. no psychologist would see a client with the intention of ruining them. a psychologist with any self respect would never put words in someone else's mouth, nor twist their words around. I also hate how unbearably unrealistic the plot line is .. . toxic masculinity is mentioned quite a few times in the sample alone, and I'd just like to point out masculinity doesn't equal toxic masculinity, they are separate things. I'd leave zero 🌟 if I could.
