Not one of my favorites from SEP but ok. A lot of unpleasant characters including the main character...Ted Bodine..I felt his character could have had more depth..all in all worth reading.

A nice complex story. The hard thing about SEP is that all of her books are so novel and different from even mainstream successful romance. This book is 5 stars as it was totally fulfilling and took you on a full journey with the characters. If anyone else wrote this, it would be a 5 star book. But, it is not as emotionally gripping as some of SEP's other books. Most of the time SEP has 2 or 3 solid subplots and this book lacks that.

Not very good, and gets very boring after a while. Also its way to long and is not my type of story but may be good for older readers.
