The Wedding Challenge

Another wonderful addition to The Matchmaker series with Lady Calandra and her brother the Earl of Rochford from the first two books. But there is also mysterious, handsome Lord Richard, Earl of Bromwell that dashingly comes into the story. The lovely Callie, now 23, has not had many suitors due to her very daunting, protective brother who is her guardian. But when she is saved from a rowdy, overzealous man at a party they are attending, her rescuer is none other than the Earl of Bromwell. Callie found herself attracted to him but her brother forbade them both to not meet again. Of course, Callie decides to enlist the help of her friend Lady Francesca to help her see Brom (love the name Bromwell, although a title!). As she and Brom are together, they have a special attraction that comes off the pages. What Callie does not know is that Brom and his sister are both seeking revenge against her brother for past wrongs they feel have been done to them. Fortunately vengeance does not make the heart have no feelings of affection and as the story plays out, a lot comes to light. In typical Candace Camp fashion, she has woven a tale that pulls you in and has your attention until the end. Such a well written story that made me not want to turn the last page. But I know there is another in this series and I can only hope to read soon!
