关于此电子书

Bob Sehlinger and Johnny Molloy’s classic Canoeing & Kayaking Kentucky has been updated yet again. Covering the Bluegrass State from the Appalachians in the east of the Mississippi River in the west, paddling has never been better in Kentucky.

Combining the latest technology with good old-fashioned paddling trips, the updated 6th edition Canoeing and Kayaking Guide to Kentucky makes your paddling adventures even easier to execute with completely revised and improved maps, access points, river gauges and mileages.

Sehlinger and Molloy have combined thousands of miles of paddling throughout North America in addition to Kentucky. They have also penned additional paddling guides to several other Southern states. This combined experience has been used to make Canoeing & Kayaking Kentucky its finest and most useful for paddlers of all types. GPS coordinates have been added to every put-in and takeout in the book, making reaching your favorite waterway a snap.

作者简介

Ken Soderberg was born an avid outdoors enthusiast and has been working in the outdoor recreation profession for more than 25 years.

Vicky Soderberg has traveled extensively in the U.S. and Europe, working as a travel writer. She is the author of the Montana Family Outdoor Guide and coauthor of Along the Trail with Lewis and Clark.

Jan Nesset is an award-winning writer and editor who returned recently to his home state of Montana, a move he considers a reward after two decades of chasing career and adventure across the West. Jan has held most steady at the helm of both national and regional outdoors magazines, and he has worked as a wilderness ranger, traveled the Sahara by camel, biked across the Andes (twice), climbed to summits around the globe, won a survival-based reality television show, paddled several of Amazonia’s rivers, and led a National Geographic-sponsored adventure across America—all this and more at a pace that has disintegrated several tents.

Christina Nesset actually sets the pace, accepting a shredded tent as the cost of a well-lived life. Chris is an accomplished outdoors enthusiast with an impressive travel resume. She is also the director of a Montana conservation organization who takes her love—borderline obsession—of backpacking and tent camping into her job. The native of Virginia had long held a childhood dream of moving to Montana where she and a friendly dog would pursue an active lifestyle from a cabin in the woods. While the cabin may more resemble a comfortable mountain home and the dog has yet to leave the pound, she is truly living the dream.

The Nessets live on the outskirts of Bozeman with their two children, Silva and Aleksia, and together the die-hard tent campers enjoy the mountains, rivers, and prairies of The Last Best Place via foot, paddle, rope, and bicycle.
