About this eBook

Being a suspect in a murder case never happens at a good time, but for Capricorn, Tad Halston, a recovering addict and former male escort who is on the verge of reclaiming his place as an in-demand male model, the timing couldn’t be worse.

With bodies piling up and more evidence pointing to him for the murders, the last thing he needs is a series of anonymous messages demanding he make the next kill for vengeance. Can he murder the uncle who abused him and sent his life hurtling down this dark path, or will his sister become the real killer’s next victim? For Tad, time is running out.

Now that Darek Blake has hired Bay “The Slayer” Collins as his divorce attorney, he realizes the man’s help will come at a much higher price. Becoming an informant was never part of the deal, but with new evidence hitting too close to home, Darek is left with no other choice. With the killer targeting Darek’s old friends, he has to decide which side is most important, his role as a detective, or his past as part of the Zodiac Society.

Capricorn in the second in the Zodiac Killers series, and it is a page-turner. This one continues with POV from Darek as well as Tad and Bay. From the first page, I was hooked...not that I wouldn't have been. I mean the first book, that acts as a prequel, had me sold and wanting to binge on the entire series. I don't even care that it would be longer than War and Peace if I read them all together :-) Alas, I must have patience. This book brings us new suspects, new victims, evolving and devolving relationships and more questions. The killer is definitely raising the stakes in Capricorn and wants participants from Virginia to know about it. Tensions are running high at the precinct as well between Max, Darek and Lizzy not always agreeing with what the clues are revealing. This is another edge of your seat, intense volume for this series. It is really well written and I love how the story is playing out so far. I am loving the magic that is happening with WL Knightly (the writing genius of Ali Parker and Lexy Timms), and I can't wait to read the next book in the series

I received an ARC for this book and am willingly reviewing it. This book was full of twists and turns. Just when you think you have the Zodiac killer figured out, another curveball gets thrown. This book mostly follows Tad. A model who has had a really rough life. Now he is being stalked by this killer and he just wants to protect his sister. I highly recommend this book if you love suspense and a "who done it" type of story.

This installment is a very suspense-filled & thrilling read. The heat is on on everyone in the Zodiac Society, but the killer decides to target Tad especially. He seems to be the weakest link, and is highly suggestible. Evidence is mounting against him, and the threats to his sister are wreaking havoc with his sanity. There are fewer narrators here, keeping the spotlight mostly internally on the Society. Bay is the guy we love most to hate - his manipulations, blackmail & controlling tactics leave much to be desired. We are no closer to the identity of the killer, though we already know the sign (s)he will be taunting next: Aquarius. I look forward with bated breath for the next installment, and recommend the series so far. I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
