Warrior

**Received ARC for a fair and honest review** Warrior is book 3 in the Breeder series. This book would be best read in order, I don't think it would read well as a standalone, there is a lot of stuff that happens in the first two books that are pertinent to this book. I'd rate this book at 4 stars. Anika is the breeder of a beta, which her brother Alpha Marlix is none too happy with. When he is killed, Anika is mourning, but also helping to care for her brothers Beta, Urazi who was injured at the same time as her Beta was killed. While she helps tend him, she begins to care for him, but when her brother decides she's to marry another, she sneaks out and leaves her brothers dwelling. Urazi can't fathom the thought of Anika being out there by herself with everything going on and he goes after her. Hopefully he can get to her in time before anything bad happens to her. I've enjoyed this series, but this is my least favorite book in the series. I did enjoy it just not as much as the first two books. I mostly enjoyed the characters, the chemistry, but Anika's personality rubbed me the wrong way. This book is also a lot more intense than the first two books and the author really did a great job with this story and series. This series is completely different than anything I've read previously which I really enjoyed, and this story was no different. I hope that there will be more books in this series, I would like to see Alpha Ilian get his own book. This book is a definite rollercoaster. Hope this helps! Happy Reading!!!
