About this ebook

Caragh M. O'Brien's Promised is the conclusion to the thrilling YA dystopian adventure Birthmarked Trilogy, where the world is divided between those who live inside the wall and those who live outside.

After defying the ruthless Enclave, surviving the wasteland, and upending the rigid matriarchy of Sylum, Gaia Stone now faces her biggest challenge ever. She must lead the people of Sylum back to the Enclave and persuade the Protectorat to grant them refuge from the wasteland. In Gaia's absence, the Enclave has grown more cruel, more desperate to experiment on mothers from outside the wall, and now the stakes of cooperating or rebelling have never been higher. Is Gaia ready, as a leader, to sacrifice what--or whom--she loves most?

I really liked the first two books, very good imagination and story telling but the third book just fell short. I like the series as a whole but just an fyi it was hard to keep my attention on the last book.

I enjoyed this series much. I was enthralled originally by the first two books. After picking up A Game Of Thrones between the second book and this release I lost my big interest. I would still recommend this book to people wishing to finish the series.

I was really hoping for a different ending, maybe a glimpse into their future together or something but it just ended abruptly. this book easily deserved another 100 pages in my opinion. Though as a whole, this trilogy was phenomenal. The Testing and now Birthmarked are my favorite series. Divergent and The Hunger Games have officially taken a back seat to these wonderfully emotional, strong, courageous series. I can't wait to read more by Caragh, wonderful work!
