Carl Little is the author of more than a dozen art books, including The Watercolors of John Singer Sargent, Edward Hopper's New England, Paintings of Maine, and The Art of Dahlov Ipcar. His articles and reviews have appeared in Art in America, Art New England, Island Journal, and Ornament. And he has published poems in many different journals, including the Paris Review and Cafe Review. His Ocean Drinker: New & Selected Poems was published in 2006. He lives on Mount Desert Island.
