This book tells you of a great idea and shows you some inspiring examples of great people, perhaps too much of it. Its just endless examples of people with growth mindets from businessmen, athletes, politicians etc. A bit too much of them for my taste. The implementation of said idea is very less. All throughout the book I just kept wondering "yea but how to implement it." Finally Carol was good enough to spare a few pages at the end to get to the how. You dont need a whole book to explain a growth mindset.

Mindset contains extremely valuable research-based information that leads to a wonderful realisation: we all have the power to become lifelong learners and in doing so, we will also become more intelligent. Dr Carol Dweck introduces the concepts of fixed and growth mindset and she offers a variety of case studies in different fields, e.g. education, business, sports, etc. Mindset is not a self help book, it's a book that can change your life!

Very nice, it is true that tends to be repetitive. Still, it make us rethink the way we behave toward challenge in a way that I haven't experienced before. Only one detail, I feel like the author wants to show how a development mindset is related to the effort and the desire to give your best always, no matter the outcome, however every example given comes intertwined with positive results only! Where are the average Joes who live by a development mindset, but could not accomplish what they really wanted in life, no matter how hard they tried? So here we are talking about living a more effort based life, but might end up once again talking about result based living, forgetting how we got where we are.
