Book 2 of Montgomery Fort Collins series by Carrie Ann Ryan Eliza is newer members of the clang but fits in really well with other characters. Eliza was married military man that was always away a lot of the time this is how she became friends with the Montgomery lot especially the women. Beckett is a Montgomery and works in family architects/construction company. He is always had a thing for Eliza but has kept his distance because she was married to Marshal but when he died things changed he tried to keep his distance but that was very difficult. Eliza and Beckett have all secrets that eventually they tell each other and were able to work through their issues. The chemistry is off the charts I love the way relationship develops The romantic scenes are incredibly lovely and sexy at the same time. I did listen to this as an audiobook and as always Carrie Ann Ryan does a amazing job writing but also Emma Wilder is a fantastic narrator so you can do both male and female accents and does it with a fantastic quality this is the first time I’ve listened to Aaron Shedlock And even though I did enjoy him as a narrator I won’t lie at the at times I did feel that Joe Arden does have a better job which is mean to say but he does and I absolutely love him. Looking forward to more in the series cannot be Carrie Ann Ryan for romance book in any genre really hope that Joe Arden is in the future ones because I do love him

It is such a joy to discover an author with an extensive back list! This is my first Montgomery Ink book, and only my second Carrie Ann Ryan. After finishing this, I can't wait to dive in and start this series from the beginning! Inked Obsession was such an emotional and intense love story, which makes a fantastic read. At the heart of it is the Montgomery family, and although this book is about Eliza and Beckett, this is also really a story about families, and friends that you make your family and how important that can be during hard times. Beckett is struggling having been through a traumatic ordeal that he is keeping a secret from his entire family and circle of friends, save one person. Eliza is starting to heal from the loss of her husband a year ago, but as the anniversary of his death comes upon her, she learns information that rocks her belief in what she knew of her relationship and who she is. Eliza's brother sends her on a vacation to get away and Beckett's family has the same thoughts, but unbeknownst to them all, it's to the same resort. There they finally give in to the chemistry and attraction both have felt for each other, but has pushed aside. This story sucks you in, and although it deals with some very intense, emotional and heavy subjects, it's also an incredibly heartwarming story of not just love, but family and how love and family can help you through anything. I can't wait to go now and start this series from the beginning. I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book and have voluntarily left an honest review.
