About this ebook

Sammy O'Connor didn't mean to steal a dragon's necklace...she just kind of did.

Little did she know that the viciously hot and muscled Rax Janvier would come to claim it—and her—would be willing to do anything to get it back. It's a fragment of a key that opens up a lock to his past—and hers.

Can she survive being kidnapped by a sea dragon who's obsessed with her? And what happens if she starts to want him back?

interesting customs in this version of a magical Earth. A dragon shifter is charged with protecting this world from malevolent beings from his home dimension. his job is made more difficult because the gate between the two worlds has a broken lock. The shifter had hometown magicians separate his human and dragon selves, sending the dragon to guard the gate while he seeks the missing part of the lock in the world above. He does this as a dealer in magical objects, hoping the piece of the lock will come to him. To sustain his desired lifestyle, he operates a shifter friendly casino/ club/restaurant. Instead he gets a smart mouthed, very prickly, very damaged orphan whose previous encounter with the magical creatures of the home realm have left her adults and counselors convinced she's imagining the bad guys while she's struggling to maintain her faith in her experience against all odds. He kidnaps her to get the key; chaos and love result. it's engaging, scary and worth reading. Do.

I typically don't favor shape shifter fantasy like books but this one was really good. The plot was very strong and quite enjoyable. a nice beautiful love story not just about sex etc etc. i liked the characters and again the writing was very good. would recommend this
