Pillaging his way through the realms of his daughter’s liberators, Halldor banishes his kin and has the brothers driven from their land.
Left with no other choice, the three brothers—together with family and their allies—depart their home, sailing for new shores and, after a treacherous voyage, finally reach their destination: Catan, Land of the Sun.
But new challenges await on this island, and new discoveries must be made if they are to survive. Will the brothers be able to stand together and offer a better future for all the settlers, or will this new mission divide them even more ...

Klaus Teuber (1952–2023) was born at the foot of Breuberg Castle in the village of Rai-Breitenbach. In 1988, his debut, Barbarossa und die Rätselmeister, was named game of the year. Further games and game prizes followed until he hit the jackpot in 1995 with the Settlers of Catan. In 2002, together with his wife, Claudia, and his two sons, Guido and Benjamin, he founded the family business Catan GmbH, whose task is the development, marketing, and licensing of the games he has developed. His two sons continue to run the company and the development of the Catan world together with the Catan team.
