Carrie Rawlins has gone missing after going for a walk with her dog. Now several weeks later the body is discovered. DCI Olbeck and his team investigate while Kate Atherton nee Redman is on maternity leave with the twins. When the case is downgraded she is asked to investigate. An entertaining and well-written modern mystery with its very likeable main characters supported by a cast of varied personalities.

Undertow is a terrific addition to the Kate Redman series. . I love this series and this book was a welcome addition. I like the way the characters are multi-dimensional and keep growing as the series progresses. Undertow is a well-written mystery that will keep you quickly turning pages to find out how Kate solves the case.

About the author

Celina Grace was born sometime towards the end of the last century and wrote her first story, The Blue Ruby, at the age of seven. Although this early masterpiece was inexplicably ignored by the literary establishment, Celina persevered with her craft and a mere forty-something years later, writes full time as the author of The Kate Redman Mysteries, The Asharton Manor Mysteries, the historical mystery series Miss Hart and Miss Hunter Investigate and various standalone psychological thrillers. She lives in the beautiful medieval town of Hitchin in the UK.
