It also features some of the coolest hot rods, customs, dragsters, lake racers, sports cars, formula racers, sprint cars, jalopies, off-road vehicles, and motorcycles around.

Tony Baker is an amateur historian, researcher, and archivist who has written four other books on motor sports history. He lives in Ventura, California, and works as a technician for a high-tech manufacturing company on the Central Coast.
