Challenging the Doctor

I enjoyed reading about Jade and Edmond in Challenging the Doctor by Patricia W. Fischer, book two in her Marietta Medical series. Dr. Edmund Davidson travels to Marietta, Montana for a fresh start after being forced to leave his practice in Florida. One of the first people he meets is nurse practitioner Jade. Despite challenges and abuse growing up Jade is an amazing woman, a Wonder Woman, but has her own demons and baggage. Edmund finds instant chemistry with Jade, so unlike any of his previous relationships. Jade never believed she would find her fairy tale ending, yet spending time with Edmund, a prince of a man, makes her believe it is possible. These two broken souls need to move away from their pasts and find a future that they create together. Ms. Fischer wrote a wonderfully sweet and moving story that is not to be missed. It had me laughing, crying and everything in between. This story is filled with sexual attraction, fun dialogue, and endearing characters. Also an element of suspense is added to this story. I highly recommend this book to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series.

WoW what a surprise author Patricia W Fischer gives us in Challenging the Doctor!. First off let me say Edmund is indeed Dr Prince Charming and Jade is one lucky lady. This book was so good. It was well writ and we got to catch up with so many well loved characters. Loved seeing some get put in their places while others we see how they have advanced and grown. I was highly impressed with how Jade's past was spoken about and loved how women are lifted up in this book. Can't wait to see who we get to meet next from this family.

Loved this book!! Dr Edmund Davidson needs to start over after a scandal, so what's better than to work in Marietta. He works along side Jade, a nurse practitioner. Jade is a very strong person but has her own demons in her closet. Jade has also recently returned to Marietta after the death of her father. There is an instant chemistry between the two, can I say hot!! Will these two kindred souls finally find their happily ever after? Loved these two broken souls, both needing to leave their pasts behind them and move forward. Jade is such a strong woman, with her past and present situations. Edmund is a prince, will not let anyone/anything stand in his way of having his HEA with Jade. I must say I loved Fred too. Author Fischer has done an excellent job on her medical information. An element of suspense added into the story makes for the perfect read.
