These five sets of stories tell of a chameleon named Little Lion, who, along with his friends, like to travel and have adventures. Sometimes, however, the adventures come right to them in their broom tree. Often enough, trouble arises and they need one of their big friends, the lion and the elephant, to bail them out. More often that not, the chameleon and his friends have to learn how to use their own wits to survive. Come along and take this journey, which explores friendship and the fun of having adventures together.

The author has enjoyed telling stories to children and his own child. In an urban setting, he helped found and taught at a progressive elementary school, featuring arts integration. His interest in animals and folklore led him to write these "just so" stories, which seek to entertain and educate.
