Amidst the evolving bonds, and my growing confidence in my place in this strange new world, my stubborn dragon alpha is rushing toward her coming of age—and toward the revenge she has been plotting since she was a child. Robin has schemed, and planned, and undermined the syndicate for decades, patiently waiting for the right time to strike. But finding out where the corrupt paranormal syndicate's emperor is hiding galvanizes the rebel court into swift action. Unfortunately, that impulsivity has consequences.
Everything is changing around me as I find myself once again separated from most of the rebel court, sequestered in the home of the wild fae with a certain icy pixie-yuki-onna cross for company. My history is revealed. Bargains are made, priorities are rearranged, and a startling loss soon turns our world upside down and changes everything.
And through it all, I struggle with the premonitions and demands of an ancient fae… Am I strong enough to be who I need to be, to do what fate demands, even if it robs Robin of the revenge that is her reason for living?
