Sebelum ini, beliau pernah berkhidmat sebagai chef di beberapa buah hotel di Malaysia. Bakat dalam bidang masakan diwarisi daripada keluarga sebelah ibu beliau. Bakat sejak kecil ini akhirnya menarik minat beliau bagi berkongsi resipi melalui Siri Resipi Kontemporari.
