About this ebook

Tattooed Protector. Hollywood Princess.

Nick Gallo lives wild and free, avoiding any complications or drama. But when he overhears a conversation at a late-night taco stand, he can’t help but insert his two cents, telling the woman she was too good for that kind of hassle.

Josephine Carmichael lives in the crosshairs of the paparazzi as the child of a Hollywood power-couple. But when her celebrity boyfriend has an affair while they’re on vacation, she takes off to the middle-of-nowhere Florida, ending up crying in her nachos.

And when Nick finds Josephine sleeping in the parking lot of a local store, his protective instincts take over. What starts out as a simple favor, takes them down a road they never imagined.

Spark is the sixth interconnect standalone book in the new steamy romance Men of Inked: Heatwave series by Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Chelle Bliss.

I have been wanting to try Chelle Bliss for awhile now to see if I was really missing something. Her books may be a little rougher (for lack of a better term) than what I usually read, but the storyline was good and her characterization brought it home. I honestly could have used a little less of the foul language at the beginning. It really made it so that Bliss had to win me over instead of me just going with the flow. This can definitely be read as a stand-alone, but I wish I knew more of the background of the members of Nick's family. Nick was super protective of Jo, while letting her stand on her own when she needed to. The romance was fast, hot and sometimes sweet between them. I'm not much on celebrity characters, but it was treated like Jo's past and so that didn't bother me. I loved the sizzle between the two! I listened to the audio version of this book. The narrations by Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield were very good. Sweet and rumbly respectively! Thanks to the author and Valentine PR for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.

This is why I read romance For that ever-elusive fairytale The one where the girl finds the other half of her soul The prince who arrives in a greasy t-shirt sporting an attitude The product of a loving family who envelops and accepts her without question A man who believes his queen should stand beside him never behind him One who lives to make her smile Sappy - absolutely! Neigh impossible? Most probably Perfect read? - Yeah *sigh* The cavity sweet Happily Ever After

***** AUDIOBOOK REVIEW ***** What is it about a Gallo man? Just like all Heatwave (Gallo) men, Nick is seriously swoonable! He’s got this tough guy personality going on but just like candy with a hard shell that inside is all soft and gooey and he definitely melts in Josephine’s mouth (YOWZAS!!!). I totally mean that as kinky as it sounds because these two are hot, hot, HOT!! The family dynamics always pull me in every single time. I love how they are always there for each other and support everyone that’s linked to their family. I just love that openness they have to the ones their blood relatives love. Jo doesn’t come into this family with that type of support behind her. I really loved how she was immersed into the Gallo family. The narrators Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield are so good together. They both bring so much to the story. Chelle Bliss’s audiobooks always feel like I’m watching a good show. I might just get the story read to me but depending on the narrators, and these two are fantastic, I can visualize the story in my mind. It’s all brought to life by their voices, by their emotions. Miss Brentmoor has a sexy and soothing voice. She’s fun and charismatic. Lance Greenfield seemed to bring Nick to life. He also sounds sexy and completely charming. This duo is so balanced and so pleasing to the ears. I’m looking forward to the next installment for the Gallo family!
