Nelle interviste e nelle testimonianze qui raccolte ricorrono alcune parole chiave: – dolore, che ha bisogno di accoglienza e rispetto; – amore, che si ritrova, nonostante tutto, anche in queste «storie ricucite» (Montale); – disagio, di queste coppie credenti verso una Chiesa spesso percepita come ostile, e disagio della comunità cristiana, pastori e laici, che si comporta con queste persone in modo ambiguo; – speranza, di essere ascoltati e accolti, ma anche di ricevere dalla Chiesa, attraverso il Sinodo dell'ottobre 2015, una «buona notizia».
