Chris began writing about Michael Jackson for the Official fanzine Off The Wall in the summer of 1988. Amongst the articles was a series on Michael Jackson’s Number Ones and the memorabilia page Cadman’s Corner. Chris also did a lot of the research for the first edition of Adrian Grant’s bestselling book, Michael Jackson – The Visual Documentary. Chris launched his own fanzine Jackson in 1995-1996, with Craig Halstead as contributor, proof reader and eventual co-editor. Carrying on from this Chris and Craig began writing a series of books, Michael Jackson – The Early Years and Michael Jackson – The Solo Years, were published in 2002 and 2003, respectively. Jacksons Number Ones followed in 2003, and their first non-Jackson book, ABBA Gold Hits, was published in 2004. The first edition of Michael Jackson: For The Record, was published in March 2007, followed by the Revised & Expanded version in September 2009. Finally in 2010 Janet Jackson For The Record was published. Chris writes a regular column in the French fanzine Invincible under the title 'Cadmans Corner.' Chris was born in July 1961 in West Bromwich, England. A Karate Black Belt First Dan by the age of 15 years, he joined the family business on leaving school, a business he still helps to run today, supplying and servicing saws for companies across the West Midlands, where he still lives. He is married to the love of his life, Lynne, and has two daughters, Samantha and my first grandchild Bradley, and Stephanie and her boyfriend Ward. Making up the family is Potter, our new Golden Retriever.
