About this ebook

Welcome to Grace Book 7 in Farraday Country, a modern twist on the favorite 7 Brides for 7 Brothers theme set in cattle-ranching west Texas, with all the friends, family and fun that fans have come to expect from USA TODAY Bestselling author Chris Keniston.

When free-spirited Grace Farraday leaves Dallas and returns to her hometown for her brother’s wedding, it’s with the firm knowledge the visit is temporary . . . no matter what. She’s had more than enough of dusty West Texas, cow dung and nosy neighbors.

Successful Wall Street businessman Chase Prescott has made a career taking risks. Now, he’s willing to take the biggest risk of all for a life in Tuckers Bluff, Texas. He loves the slow pace, friendly neighbors, cattle ranches . . . and a certain lady with a strong will.

Unfortunately, everything Chase has dreamed of is exactly what Grace has vowed to leave behind.

YES!!! If you have never read a Chris Keniston book, go ahead and start with this one. It isn't exactly a standalone but you can pick up the others once you are hooked. With every Chris Keniston book I read, I say this is it; this is the best book and that holds true of her newest release, Grace. I adore all of the Faradays and all of the new and future in-laws! Ms Keniston writes exactly the kind of people that I can relate to even though their lives are distinctly different from mine. I appreciate that her characters have high standards in work and life. I love the town that CK builds with only a few words and makes us fall in love with through the people we meet there. I am amazed at how, with only a few words, she can pull me into the daily lives of this family that I have come to love. The newest couple is of course the younger sister Grace who has just finished college and is aiming to pass the bar and head to the big time, maybe even New York. The new guy in town, Chase, has left the crowded world of big business and New York to slow down and enjoy the people around him. There are so many trite ways to handle this conflict in dreams that I wasn't sure even Chris Keniston could managed to navigate the story without falling into at least one of the pitfalls. I should have more faith in her writing; she always presents a fresh twist on life and love. Their fall into love happens very quickly but two thing make it work for me, 1) they are both strong people with enough experience to recognize what they want, 2) the dog! Who can argue with a phantom, matchmaking dog? I can not believe anyone is still betting against Gray! I requested a received an advanced readers copy of Grace from the author. I review all books that I love and I absolutely love Grace!

Another good clean and sweet love story on the Farradays, this time focusing on the romance between the youngest and only girl, Grace and city boy Chase. The budding romance between Grace and Chase is clear for everyone in Tucker Bluff to see except the twos. Though not one of my favourites but I love the way Chase try to romance Grace and convince her to stay. Of course both of them get some help from Gray, the matchmaking dog and Aunt Eileen :). It’s also great to catch up with what is happening in the lives of the rest of the Farradays as well.

Grace is the least known of all the Farraday clan. She has been studying law in Dallas and is home for her best friend Betsy and brother DJ's wedding. The dog is around again and she and Chase get to know each other as a result. Chase isn't a city know it all and is quite happy to listen and learn. They spend time together performing tasks and do a fair amount of talking. Nothing life threatening happens, just a casual getting to know one another and moving towards their happy ever after. Quick and easy read.

About the author

USA TODAY Bestselling author Chris Keniston's love of a good story and frustration with the end of a well-known author's romance best seller, drove her to pen her own works of romance and fiction.

Currently working on the contemporary romance series, Farraday Country, Chris brings stories of falling in love, matchmaking, Texas Cowboys, family values, and all around entertaining shenanigans that fans have grown to love and expect from her bestselling books.

In her Aloha Series, Chris tips her hat to the military writing poignant and sometimes funny stories of life with former military heroes. Using popular themes of small towns and sandy beaches blended with stories of the single dad, survivor’s guilt, an accidental wedding and so more continues to make the Aloha Series a reader's choice.

Readers won't want to miss Chris' romantic women's fiction novels that include a variety of themes from international settings dealing with wealthy millionaires, family feuds and tropical beaches, to the relationships between family and friends in small town Texas, and to sisterhood and friendship in the award winning novel The Champagne Sisterhood

A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Author of more than a dozen contemporary novels, including a finalist for the prestigious Golden Heart Award, Chris lives in North Texas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.
