Christa Kanitz alias Christa Canetta studierte Psychologie und Sozialpädagogik und begann ihre journalistische Laufbahn beim SWR in Baden-Baden. Nach einem längeren Aufenthalt in der Schweiz und in Italien lebte sie viele Jahre in Hamburg. Sie verstarb 2015.
