About the author

Fun-loving campers, backpackers, and outdoor chefs, Tim and Christine Conners are the authors of 13 outdoor titles with Falcon Guides/GPP and have been writing outdoor cookbooks for over 20 years. At the invitation of Boy Scouts of America, the Conners served numerous times as judges for Scouting Magazine’s prestigious national camp food cooking contest. Their articles have appeared in Scouting Magazine, Boy’s Life, and Backpacker Magazine. Cumulatively, their titles have sold more than 200,000 copies.

Christine has a B.A. and M.A. in psychology as well as an M.A. in fine art. She currently teaches psychology part-time at Pima Community College. Tim has a B.S. in aerospace engineering. He has authored over 30 technical publications, many award-winning, and holds over 30 technical patents.

Tim and Christine maintain a website at www.lipsmackincampin.com and are the hosts of the YouTube channel, Lipsmackin’ Campin’, sponsored by MSR. The channel has received over 1 million views to date. Their video, Dutch Oven Cooking 101, is the most heavily viewed in the series.
