About the author

After qualifying in 1970, Christine took a postgraduate training in paediatrics and worked with babies and children for 10 years. She subsequently trained as an obstetric physiotherapist and qualified as a full member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1981.
