About this eBook

This Christmas, she’s hoping for a miracle…

Twenty-five years ago, Jane Fallon put her rising career on hold to take over her family’s bookstore after the death of her father. Throughout the years, she’s transformed Angel Harbor Books into a place of comfort for her and her daughter, but when her landlord announces the building has been sold, Jane is faced with sudden uncertainty. If the bookstore is gone, what will she do?

As a young man, Dan Gallo couldn’t get out of Angel Harbor fast enough. Now a best-selling novelist, Dan returns home after a tragedy derails his career. His first stop is his favorite teenage hangout—the local bookstore. It’s almost exactly how he remembers it. But the girl who once worked there is now a beautiful woman whose smarts and spirit inspire him to write again, and open his heart to new possibilities.

With her world threatening to fall apart, Dan hopes that with the help of the town—and some Christmas magic—he can get Jane to see how important she is to the people of Angel Harbor...and him.

by Jeannie Moon. Ms. Moon made me fall in love with her hero and heroine, Jane and Dan, which was not a difficult thing to do. This is an amazing second chance romance for a seasoned couple, who are perfect for each other. Jane Fallon put her life on hold, twenty-five years ago, after the death of her father in order to take over the family’s bookstore. Since then, Jane has transformed Angel Harbor Books into a comfortable and welcoming place for her customers, townspeople, and her daughter. When she learns that her landlord has sold the building, she is at wit’s end, unsure of what her future holds. Dan Gallo could not leave Angel Harbor fast enough. Now a best-selling author, Dan returns to Angel Harbor after a tragedy derails his career and his muse. Returning to his favorite hangout in Angel Harbor, the bookstore, it’s like time stood still. Dan discovers that Jane is still as beautiful and smart as he remembers. It is her spirit that inspires him to write once again as well as opening his heart to new possibilities. With Dan’s support and encouragement, Jane discovers that despite feeling that her world is falling apart, she and the book store are valuable to the people and the town of Angel Harbor. It just takes some Christmas magic for Jane to open her eyes and visualize all the possibilities. Ms. Moon wrote an amazing and emotional story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sizzing chemistry, intriguing banter, and strong characters giving Jane and Dan a second chance at finding themselves as well as having a loving future together. I highly recommend Christmas in Angel Harbor to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Gifted author Jeannie Moon swept me away to the quaint town of Angel Harbor in her newest book, Christmas in Angel Harbor. The town is the embodiment of small town life, especially at Christmas...it receives the gift of love through the presence of Jane and her generational book store, Harbor Books. With the quality of affection that transcends what one expects from small town life, her characters steal your heart through the tenderness they hold for Jane and her little store. Entering back into Jane’s life after years of separation Dan, now a best selling author, brings the one kind of love that neither has found since they parted. The emotional journey they take to find what they lost is at the same time poignant and joyous. There is one thing I have come to expect from the characters in each of Ms Moon’s books...no matter how many different storylines...they are all unique and have a depth of character not often found with other authors. These are the types of characters who stay with you long after the stories have ended. I was also taken with the wry wit and humor threaded throughout the story...the quips between the myriad of characters were often laugh out loud hilarious...though they were subtle at the same time. This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Jane Fallon and Dan Gallo were close friends during their youth. All was great until Dan graduated college and went off to law school , leaving Jane heartbroken. As both started to move ahead in their lives, Jane’s dream of becoming an archeologist came tumbling down the day her father died. She left her dreams and created new ones when she took over the family owned bookstore in Angel Harbor. After a few years as a lawyer, Dan became a very successful author. Now over twenty years later, and after his last book caused his life to be turned upside down, he returns to Angel Harbor. Here he hopes to regroup and find inspiration for the next book. When he returns to the bookstore where he started to write as a teenager, he finds Jane. Feelings that were dormant between them wake up. But there is a lot of hurt to overcome. Plus, Dan has plans of leaving town once again. When things seem to be working out, an unexpected turn of events threatens Jane’s future and their relationship. This was a story about second chances between two individuals over 50. Both successful in their own right. It was also a story about family, giving of oneself, love and hope. Though for me it was a little slow moving, the message of hope, internal peace and love is very clear and touching. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Tule Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
