About this ebook

'Are you there, Satan? It's me, Madison'

Meet Madison, whip-tongued daughter of a narcissistic film star and a billionaire, abandoned at a Swiss boarding school over Christmas while her parents are off adopting more orphans. Madison dies of a marijuana overdose and awakes to find herself in Hell, sharing her cell with a motley crew of young sinners that's almost too good to be true.

Welcome to the afterlife as only Palahniuk could imagine it - he makes eternal torment, well, simply divine.

I did enjoy his lastest efforts far more than I did Pygmy, but not as much as The Haunted. The story of 11 year old Madison who also narrates her own chronicle in the afterlife. This is a tale of growing up, discovery, strength, adolescence woe and friendship... That also happens to occur in hell and guess what?! In hell you still happen to have a full time job, even at 11 yo, go figure!

I wish I could focus on an essential aspect of the novel and say:"here it is! This is what makes it awesome and appealing to me". It's an awesome way to waste time that could have otherwise been used, jerking off on the bottom of the pool or choking your mom with puddin'.it's fucking great and the whole thing about the Telemarketing, was just great...It all finally makes sence.
