About this ebook

Seattle. Humans have no idea about witches or gods.

Beckett's a screw up. She's never been good with magic. What's a witch to do when she's more of a nuisance to the coven than she is an asset?

She goes on her own, makes a living working at a bookstore, and keeps trying to make her magic work.

It doesn't.

Finnick's a pain in the ass demigod who made the mistake of pissing off the wrong witch. Now he's carrying a curse. He needs a witch to break the curse. Too bad he's picked Beckett as that witch.

Enjoyed the first book. The pacing was good, development was good for a book with a sequel. However this book (the sequel) was super rushed. I was all excited to dig into the intricacies of a war between witches & gods, or even just a build up to a heroic prevention of said war. But was let down by a rush job of tying up loose ends. I don't regret the money I spent, because this story has SOOOOO much potential. But I sincerely hope the author will rewrite this second book to better realize the potential.

It was so much like the hunger games, divergent and legend I couldnt book the book down!! I wish it was more viberent in details, and lacked in suspense. Overall I enjoyed the book. I think it rushed to the point and was to thin, it only took me an hour to read. I RECCOMEND IT
