Read the first and third book from library, and these takes me only a week to finish, a page turner. The thing that struck me is the part when they are conversing with the 4th dimension ring in the third book, and how it summarise the series universe and it's behaviour in a metaphorical dialog which literally covers the span of the universe life; dimensions destruction. Thus, I need to have it in my digital library collection.

An extremely creative sci-fi adventure that explores humans' relationship to the universe at large. Unfortunately, I felt the storytelling to be lacking in both pacing and consistency. Most of the characters felt fairly thin: there were only a couple characters in the series that felt "real" to me. Possibly the most difficult aspect of the series was a frequent sense of "why did I just read that?" Perhaps it is a commentary on human society, but I frequently felt like what I had been reading was entirely invalidated by some new development in the story. It is also worth mentioning that book 3 uses some blatantly chauvinistic tropes. That said, it should be reiterated that the science fiction aspect of this series is impressively creative. So if you are mainly looking for something that will take you out of the ordinary and feel that my critiques won't bother you, this will be a good series.

The author builds a magnificent universe filled with sci-fi wonders that is also very close to reality. His approach to classical sci-fi themes is new and refreshing. The story is engaging, the characters are fully fleshed out and the intrigues will keep you on edge. A must read in the sci-fi genre!
