About this ebook

Welcome to the final round of The Faerie Race—an epic adventure through a realm as compelling as it is deadly… The final trial of the Faerie Race has arrived: a head-to-head battle through the streets of Elfame city. Jacq and Orin should be ecstatic to have made it this far—but tragedy overshadows them both—leaving the pair wondering if the cost to continue is too high. Only the unexpected reappearance of her long-lost sister keeps Jacq in the game, but Cass’s presence comes with troubles of its own. The ancient Brotherhood is closer than ever to carrying out a twisted plot that would mean an end to modern human civilization. There’s one slim chance to foil the Brotherhood’s plans, and only Jacq and Orin have the means to do it. Thrust into a lethal final showdown that’s more game than race, Jacq and Orin quickly realize that the odds are once again rigged against them. And worse, their enemies have thrust those they love into the cross-hairs. The clock is ticking. Jacq and Orin have one slim chance to foil the Brotherhood’s plans and win the race, or they’ll lose more than just the competition. They’ll lose everything and everyone they hold dear. The Doomsday Trial is Book Three in The Faerie Race, a nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat thrill ride through a realm unlike you’ve ever seen. Scroll up and one-click to finish the adventure!

The end to another fantastic fantasy novel. This entire series needs to be made into a TV show. This is basically the Amazing Race but Fae style. There is a mystery with the Brotherhood, Jacq's missing sister, a Prince that is presumed dead. The Chess game in this final installment was a wild ride. And my ultimate dream for this novel was for Orin to see his family again, after 18 years. By the end of the book I was a puddle. I don't want to say too much a spoil the novel, but it is a very entertaining ride. Claire makes it so that reading her books are so effortless. You get scooped up into the world she creates and this with her co-author J A Armitage; is a cast of characters that you are rooting for, that you love to hate and others you hope that karma gets them. A very pleasant and happy conclusion to this novel. I would definitely be interested in more stories in this fae world.

About the author

USA Today Bestselling author Claire Luana grew up in Seattle reading everything she could get her hands on and writing every chance she could. Eventually, adulthood won out, and she turned her writing talents to more scholarly pursuits, going to work as a commercial litigation attorney. While continuing to practice law, Claire decided to return to her roots and try her hand once again at creative writing. She has written and published four fantasy series: the Moonburner Cycle, the Confectioner Chronicles, the Knights of Caerleon, co-written with Jesikah Sundin, and The Faerie Race trilogy, co-written with J.A. Armitage. She is currently writing a new urban fantasy serial series called the Mythical Alliance. She lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband and two dogs. In her (little) remaining spare time, she loves to hike, travel, binge-watch CW shows, and of course, fall into a good book.

J.A lives in a total fantasy world (because reality is boring right?) When she's not writing all the crazy fun in her head, she can be found eating cake, designing pretty pictures and hanging upside down from the tallest climbing frame in the local playground while her children look on in embarrassment.

She's travelled the world working as everything from a banana picker in Australia to a Pantomime clown, has climbed to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro and the bottom of the Grand Canyon and once gave birth to a surrogate baby for a friend of hers. Somehow she finds time to write.
