Would have liked this story if it wasn't so much of a "quickie", so to speak. As in following them as they work together on their romantic relationship as well as catching-up with each other after the long absence and learning how they have grown and changed separately and how coming together fulfills the missing parts of themselves that they were missing all along, or not. I guess what I am really saying is that this story reads like a first chapter that is all lonely by itself and that is frustrating.

After the first few pages I wound up skimming through the rest of the pages trying to find an explanation for why he didn't speak to her or return any of her emails for three years. There was none. She sees him for the first time, acts all mad at him, not even talking to him, and all he says is "I'm sorry". No F***ing explanation! Then she forgives him with out asking why, what's that about? There's an implication he chose this college on purpose to be near her and before things get heated they act as though they were close once. But it made no sense to me because there is no reason given as to why he didn't communicate with her at all (even though he talked to their parents) for three f****ing years! Then suddenly he wants her?? That just doesn't seem plausible to me. If he really cared for her and missed her he wouldn't have coldly ignored her emails and not said a word to her in three years. I don't mind that it was a short book but it needs to make sense.
