Developer Santiago needs permission from Princess Freja before he can build a casino in her country. The tourism money is much needed, but she has a personal aversion to gambling. Santiago suggests she spend a few days at his casino in Barcelona so she can make a more informed choice. She agrees, knowing the risk. For the first in her life, she feels attracted to a man. But what good could come from a fling with playboy Santiago? Besides, before their deaths, her parents arranged a marriage for her with another man—another royal. Does she dare go against her parents' wishes and follow her heart? This opposites-attract royal romance is touching, emotional, and steamy. I was happy to see the asexual representation. The obstacles between the characters were strong and deep-seated in their past experiences, which makes for a satisfying ending when they manage to work past their differences.
