I loved all of these steamy romances that Burgoa put together in her collection of firsts! This is a great way for you to experience the start of many of her funny, emotional and sizzling series! ~ Maybe Later (The Spearman Family #1) I absolutely loved this unique, and refreshing romance. I wasn't sure what to expect going in to this virtual rom-com. What I found was witty banter, intriguing storyline, engaging characters, and hot sexual tension that leaped off the page. Amy is Jackson's new virtual assistant. She knows just how to handle the surly, demanding CEO. Jackson has never been challenged like this before and they soon begin discussing more than their daily tasks. Outside of work, they have each started dating someone new. But the virtual connection is just as intoxicating for them both as the physical. Their daily text messages have allowed them to form a bond that no one else has with them. But their new relationships are just as inviting, and captivating, confusing them both. If you think you've read this story before, trust me, you haven't. This is a wonderful, witty, steamy story that will keep you turning the pages and capture your heart. My heart was totally invested in Kade and Sadie's emotional journey from the very beginning. It isn't an easy journey, but it is a breathtakingly beautiful voyage thru tears of heartache and joy that will stay with you long after the last page. It takes Sadie a long time to trust. When she finally gives her heart, it is forever. All she ever wanted was to be apart of a family. When Kade, at a very emotional moment, was forced to choose his children over Sadie, she was crushed. By the time Kade realizes he can't live without his soulmate, it just might be too late. I loved Kade and Sadie so much, including all their flaws. Kade is a wonderful and devoted lover, friend, and father. He puts everyone first and is determined to protect those he loves. Sadie is so strong, sweet, selfless, and caring. They are perfect together, making each other stronger, having fun together, and their chemistry is off the charts. I love how this story is told in flashback sequences, revealing how their sweet love story began, and the events that lead to heartbreak. Burgoa expertly weaved a tale of loyalty and betrayal, of love and heartbreak, and ultimately of hope and healing. I loved every moment of this beautiful, raw and emotional journey, including all the silly pet names they used! Don't miss this stunning, epic love story! ~ Wrong Text, Right Love (Against All Odds #1) I absolutely loved this unique, refreshing, and hilarious rom-com! This slow-burn romance is the perfect blend of fun and witty banter, intriguing story-line, engaging characters, and hot sexual tension that leaps right off the page. When a quirky, chatty, media influencer, along with her nosy cat, moves into an exclusive apartment to produce her podcast and write her book, her sexy neighbor is not happy. I loved this wonderfully refreshing, witty, and steamy story! It made me laugh out loud and captured my heart as I fell ~ Begin with Me (Chaotic Love #1) The title, Chaotic Love, doesn't begin to reveal how raw, heartrending, and seductive this romance will be! I thought I knew what to expect from Ms Burgoa, but she left me stunned and speechless with this one! This story is a rollercoaster of emotion with twists and turns that will keep you totally engaged and rooting for their HEA. I was totally stunned at the end of this book, and can't wait for the conclusion in the second book of this duet! So happy she isn't making us wait very long!
