I couldn't help but devour this book after the way the first book left me heartbroken and completely stunned! Then the way that The Truth About Us picks up again shocked me, and I couldn’t stop reading until I knew how it all played out. There were so many raw and intense emotions that wrecked me as events were revealed in past and present storytelling, which I love. I love Burgoa's writing style, it is beautiful, and so alluring that you feel like you are right there experiencing every emotion!

What an emotional story this was. I felt as though I was on a perpetual roller coaster as I was reading. As Gabe and Ameline fought to come back together it pulled all sorts of emotions from me. I was so anxious to see what Ms. Burgoa had in store for this couple that I read this book almost in one go. I just had to know what she had planned. If you enjoy high angst, emotional stores then this duet is for you.

I loved this sequel and couldn't put it down. What a rollercoaster ride for Ame and Gabe! She left him, yet he remained devoted to her. I am glad they had their happy ending after all they went through.
