I enjoyed reading this. It starts of with a description of the past and how Sage and Tucker came to be in each other's lives. They're the epitome of people coming into each other's lives and being exactly what the other needed. They may not have asked for this but in the face of tragedy they come together and it's oh, so sweet. It's a slow burn though and lots happens between the beginning and when they actually come together but I became invested and found myself smiling half the time. I just finished listening to the audio of it and it brings a whole new meaning to the story. The narrators did such a great job of bringing the characters to life I practically couldn't stop listening. I loved this!

There were a lot of touching moments, giggles, support, and love in this story. I really enjoyed how Sage and Tucker found ways to be co-parents despite their pasts and differences. Though forced into the situation, they tried so hard to ignore their feelings for each other so that they would be successful. I fell in love with both of them, and I cried a few times as they made their way through the trials of parenthood and love. I highly recommend this story. The dual narration by George Newbern and Grace Grant gave life to Sage and Tucker, and they helped me enjoy this story. I received this audiobook as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.

I absolutely loved Us After You by Claudia Burgoa; it is an incredible love at first sight love story. Claudia Burgoa continues to provide readers with incredible love stories filled with amazing characters. She continues to prove that she is an amazing. I love all the characters in Us After You, they feel like family! Us After You filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, I could not put it down, and I loved every moment on every page. Who doesn't love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? I really enjoy how the book is told in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. Us After You is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. It is filled with all those things that I have come to love and expect in Claudia Burgoa love story, and she did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Us After You is a love story about, Tucker “Tuck” Dean Bradley-Cooperson-Decker, lead guitarist for Sinners of Seattle and Sage Heywood, who manages her grandparents’ bookstore, A Likely Story Bookstore, in Baker’s Creek, Oregon. I loved how the book spans several years, and you could see the growth in Tuck and his friends. Sage and Tuck meet when she bumps into him at a bar the night before her sister Sienna’s engagement party in Seattle. Sienna calls her fiancé Patrick, but unbeknownst to Sage, he is Rocco a guitarist for Sinners in Seattle. Sienna and Patrick meet in rehab, where Sienna was Patrick’s addiction counselor. Sienna announces that she is pregnant shortly after getting married and dies due to a pulmonary embolism following the birth of a baby girl, that they named Mae. Patrick dies shortly thereafter from a drug overdose. Sienna and Patrick named Sage and Tuck the guardians for any children they had during their marriage. Sage’s parents are strapped for cash and file for guardianship of their granddaughter in hopes of controlling whatever money Rocco left for Mae. Sage moves in with Tuck to help him with Mae in hopes of improving their chance for permanent guardianship, their relationship changes, but they are concerned if their will harm their custody case. I love when both Tuck and Sage get real with their true feelings for one another and opens up to each other in an emotionally charged, gut wrenching dialogue that transpires between the two of them. I love how they share things that they have never shared before, Sage tells Tuck about her abusive marriage and Tuck tells her about his adoptive parents. I love all the things that Tuck does for Sage to keep her with him in Seattle. My favorite part were the measures that Sage and Tuck take before the custody hearing to guarantee that Mae would be their daughter. I also love how the epilogue went above and beyond a happily ever after, and how it included the viewpoint of both Sage and Tuck. I loved Tuck’s proposal, and the significance of the engagement ring. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Us After You, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Sinners of Seattle bandmates especially their teasing that made me laugh. Who doesn’t love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed Us After You, who doesn’t love a love at first sight love story? Highly recommend this incredible love story.
