Yours to Keep

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Yours to Keep is one of the most unique stories I've read in quite some time. This is my first book by this author and I would have happily given it five stars because I loved the story but I spent a great deal of the book feeling lost. I highly recommend reading the other books in the series before reading this one. This series is about the Aldridge brothers who are forced to live together in a quaint, small town called Baker's Creek in order to inherit their father's assets listed in his will. Each book focuses on the brothers finding their individual HEAs. This book focuses on Vance Aldridge and Darren Russell. It is a beautiful MM romance. Vance is ex-military and the last single brother. He lives with a lot of emotions that he refuses to feel including guilt and anger. Darren lives in San Francisco and works as a neurosurgeon. He lives a carefree lifestyle except for dealing with his extremely overbearing mother and sisters. When he is offered a job by Vance's brother, he jumps at the chance to get away from his family and move to Baker's Creek. He is immediately attracted upon meeting Van and doesn't have a problem outrageously flirting with him. He certainly had me laughing quite a bit. I loved their journey to their HEA. The side characters were my favorite part of this book. The Aldridge brothers were absolutely hilarious! Baker's Creek was a character of it's own and I could easily see myself living there. I really wish I had read the rest of the series but if I had, I would probably have been bawling while reading the sweet letters at the end. Overall, this was an incredible read and time very well spent. I certainly recommend it. I'm looking forward to other works by Mrs. Burgoa. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Packed with strong characters that are easy to connect with that will melt the coldest of hearts Dare is just an absolute blast to spend time with Easy going, light-hearted - Vance's complete opposite Watching Vance dance around his feelings for Dare was delightfully amusing especially when Dare was egging him on Both of them though were drifting down the river of denial when it came to their hearts I laughed, I loved I did not want to leave All the feels blended with light angst, a little humor, and a whole lot of romance If you have not read the previous books in the series this does contain some spoilers so ...

What a spectacular but bittersweet ending to The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series! These Aldridge brothers; Henry, Hayes, Pierce, Mills, Carter, Vance, and Beacon, drove us crazy, made us laugh and especially made us swoon until the very end! This was Vance Aldridge and Darren (Dare) Russell's funny, heartfelt, sweet & steamy romance. It developed simultaneously with Beacon and and Mill's story which I loved seeing some of their storyline from a different perspective. Vance is at a crossroads after leaving the elite unit who betrayed him. He has learned from an early age, that the only way to protect himself is to not feel any emotion. Now he is forced to live in Bakers Creek with his brothers and as they begin to trust each other and form close bonds, he is struggling with how to open himself up. Dare, is a renowned neurosurgeon from San Francisco, who after helping save Beacon Aldridge, is recruited to join the medical team in Bakers Creek. Dare is looking for an excuse to escape his families suffocating pressure to find love after a heartbreaking breakup, but also to help those in need. Vance is enlisted to show Dare around town. They seem like complete opposites at first, with Dare openly flirting with Vance and always talking, while Vance is broody, and quiet. But the more time they spend together, the more their attraction grows. When they fake a relationship to deter Dare's mother's matchmaking, their chemistry explodes behind closed doors. But time is running out on Vance's requirement to stay in Bakers Creek. What happens when they are faced with standing up for each other or moving on? Vance and Dare were so perfect for each other! I loved their push/pull relationship, and how their relationship and feelings for each other grew so organically without them even realizing it. It was the perfect love story that also reflected how the Aldridge brothers grew into the strong, loving and supportive family they always wanted deep down. Vance and Dare's story was a great addition to The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series. Burgoa is such an amazing storyteller, lingering on the characters' witty banter, in building moments of excitement, and developing tenderness that culminates into a strong and beautiful love of family and partner. I love all the authentic emotions she makes me feel from happy to teary eyed, to heart melting swoon. I loved this fun, emotional and steamy story/series so much, it is everything I crave and so much more!
