This is my favorite Colleen Houck book. I loved her other books so I decided to read The Lantern's Ember, and was not disappointed. I quickly found myself immersed in the world. Great reading experience. One of my favorite books.

This is one of the greatest books I have read in a while. The universe is so vivid and the characters drew me in. I think it was a little slow to get into this but I was sucked in completely. The stories and creatures are familiar, but the way they are woven together is so new.
