5 Star Review Confessions of a Naughty Nanny (The Baileys #6) by Piper Rayne I fall more in love with this series, the Bailey’s and their circle of friends as I read each new addition. I adore small town romances and often find myself wishing that I could be a part of the Lake Starlight, Alaska community. Whenever I pick up a Piper Rayne book about the Bailey’s I know there will be plenty of humour, family and romance. Confessions Of A Naughty Nanny is full of love, family fun shenanigans and ticked all the boxes for me. I love Phoenix and Griffin together, what an absolutely awesome pairing these two made. I also loved the relationship that Phoenix has with his son, Maverick(don’t call me Mav). Phoenix has always been the least successful Bailey(in her view) and having to return home after her singing career stalls, has left her with doubts and insecurities. Learning that Declan’s friend, ex music producer Griffin Thorne, has moved to Lake Starlight to start over, Phoenix is desperate to meet the man who could reignite her singing career, however Declan refuses to introduce her. Phoenix being the resourceful woman she is, manages to meet and get hired as a nanny for Maverick. I loved how feisty, spunky and determined Phoenix is, she is enthusiastic and yet underneath the surface is a woman who is extremely vulnerable. The banter between them had me almost in tears at times, such was the humour. The chemistry between the two is so intense, that you can almost feel the sparks flying. From start to finish, I was captivated by this story. There is so much to love about this story and I hate that we have to wait for so long for Juno’s story. As always Grandma Dori almost steals the book and it was wonderful catching up with the Bailey clan.

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review** Confessions of a Naughty Nanny was another entertaining and awesome visit with our favorite family in Alaska! Phoenix has always been the Bailey that hasn't quite found her way. She and her twin sister Sedona are the youngest of the nine Bailey siblings and Phoenix is tired of always being looked at as a failure by the rest of her siblings. Her dream is to make is as a singer, but is that really going to happen when she's already been to LA and was forced to come home? Griffin Thorne needs a change. After years in the music business and the hustle and bustle of LA, not to mention a plane crash that had his life flashing in front of his eyes, he's ready to spend time with his son and in order to do that, they move to Lake Starlight, Alaska where he knows he'll be far away from the spotlight. When they arrive in Alaska, Griffin knows he needs to find nanny for his eight year old, Maverick. When a chance encounter puts Phoenix, Griffin and Maverick all in the same place, and Phoenix learns what Griffin is looking for, she agrees to be Maverick's nanny and in turn hopes that maybe, just maybe, getting close to Griffin will help her get the break she's always wished for. While Phoenix might not have been the traditional choice for a nanny, it turns out she and Maverick have a very sweet bond and she seems to be the best thing for him. As Griffin and Phoenix begin to spend more time together, the sparks begin to fly. While there are plenty of things that the two of them see as potential stumbling blocks, their connection is undeniable. Will the things that they were so concerned with end up causing issues in the end, or will these two unlikely matches have found their person where they least expected it? I love the Bailey family to pieces. It was nice to hear about what was going on with other members of the family and Grandma Dori was up to her usual antics, which always make it entertaining! This was a fantastic addition to the series and I can't wait for the next book. Piper Rayne definitely left us wondering how things are going to go when we revisit Lake Starlight!

Loving the Bailey's and Lake Starlight. A new year and a new book from the fabulous duo authors, Piper Rayne. This book was a wonderful start to this year’s offering from Lake Starlight and the Bailey clan. We’re now on book six and it’s Phoenix’s turn. She and her twin sister Sedona are the youngest of the nine siblings and Phoenix is the most headstrong out of them all. She is tired of being looked upon as a failure by her brothers and sisters and just wants her one moment in the spotlight. But, L.A, didn’t supply her dream and she had to return home, now she’s just aimlessly going from one job to another. Until she discovers that Griffin Thorne is coming to town. Forget Santa, Griffin is the man who Phoenix would write her list to if only Devon would give her his address… or phone number!! Griffin is a big-time music producer… or he was until he decided to leave it all behind and come stay in Alaska. He’s a single dad and needs a nanny for his young son, Maverick. In a quirk of fate, the pair meet in the bakery and before he knows what hit him, Griffin is offering the nanny position to Phoenix. She’s more than happy to accept, and secretly hopes he hears her singing and will help make her dreams come true. But, as time passes, their initial attraction only grows stronger and eventually becomes impossible to ignore. This is a sweet, sexy and steamy story. Phoenix is sassy and snarky, headstrong and bold but still really just a young woman and puts a lot of faith in Griffin. He’s eleven years older, and in some ways, he’s jaded, but he’s vulnerable too, and when he does hear Phoenix sing he can’t help but want to see her star shine. But what happens when the snow-covered slopes of Alaska are exchanged for the sandy beaches of L.A? Find out when you One-Click your copy of Confessions of a Naughty Nanny. P.S. I adored the epilogue, I was so happy and tears were running down my cheeks by the time I had finished it. I loved catching up with all the Baileys and Gram’D. I can’t wait for the next book. Bring it on, Juno!!
