ROBERT MASTERS was the director of research of the Foundation for Mind Research and director of the Sekhmet Institute for the Study of Images and Symbols. He was also general adjunct professor in the Union Graduate School and the author or co-author of 20 books in the areas of psychology, anthropology, psychedelic drugs, hypnosis, and sexual behavior.
