Copyright law was once an esoteric backwater, the special province of professional authors, publishers, and media companies. This is no longer the case. Neil Weinstock Netanel holds the Pete Kameron Endowed Chair in Law at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. He writes and teaches in the areas of copyright, trademark, and international intellectual property. His recent books include From Maimonides to Microsoft and Copyright's Paradox.
