Ares Van Jaag was born on March 28, 1967 in the city of Badalona (Spain). At 15, his first Mike Oldfield album falls into his hands and he is amazed at his music. From that moment he redirects his studies to the field of electronics and begins to rediscover the music, sometimes making his own instruments, as he did with his first electric guitar. At 17 years of age he falls platonically in love with a girl who will never take him into consideration, and after plunging into a great depression he finds refuge in his own music, although that experience will haunt him for years. His first rehearsals date from that time, however he does not start recording until 1999, the year in which his emotional and economic stability allow him to install a complete studio in his own home. A year later he began to timidly edit his songs in mp3 format on the Internet, he ran the year 2001 when he released his first single, and a year later his first LP, signing a contract with Vitaminic Records, one of the great online labels of the moment . Van Jaag's restless mind has been moving him through very different interests and interests throughout his life. This has made him a perfect "learner of everything but also a teacher", a quality that gives him a particular multifaceted ability in many professional and personal aspects. His interest in the relationship between mathematics and music led him accidentally to develop his first book: "The Professional Player Manual" - Editorial Trafford Publishing.

Natàlia Viñas Ferrándiz -Barcelona, January 18, 1984-, translator and proofreader of English, Spanish and Catalan, is deputy director of the London publishing house Alvi Books, Ltd.

José Antonio Alías began his career as a composer and later performed as an author under the same artistic name and pseudonym, respectively, of Ares Van Jaag. Later I would work as an independent editor.

His literary works include "Manual del Jugador Profesional" - Editorial Trafford Publishing (2008), "The Water Engine" - Editorial Vivelibro (2013) or "Moncheta Gonzalo de la Birria Caateta" - Editorial Alvi Books (2016).

He was director of Editorial Planeta-Alvi until the modification of his corporate name in 2018.

He currently serves as editor and director of the London publishing house Alvi Books, Ltd.
