I have read all Johnstone's novels and after really enjoying them all, I felt Crash Land was Johnstone flogging a dead horse. The plot was reminiscent of previous work and I would have liked it more having not read all the others. I am still a fan of his no nonsense style of writing and will eagerly await his next novel but definitely not his best in my opinion.

Love his books and this is a great story but too many unanswered questions at the end.
