In the current economic landscape, technology-driven entrepreneurship is the driving force behind national economies and societies. It is the engine of innovation, job creation, productivity growth, and economic growth, bringing benefits both at the level of the individual and of the society, promoting sustainable smart growth and development. Therefore, there is an increasing interest in setting up the suitable entrepreneurial learning environments and processes to encourage and foster individual entrepreneurial aptitudes. This book proposes a comprehensive analysis of the existing schools of thought on technology-driven entrepreneurship, in order to understand if it can be learned and to discover what the main processes are that influence the creation of entrepreneurial mind-sets.

作者简介

Giuseppina Passiante is Full Professor of Innovation Management and Technology Entrepreneurship at the University of Salento (Lecce, Italy). Currently her research fields concern Technology Entrepreneurship, and more specifically the experiential learning environment encouraging enterprise and entrepreneurship capabilities, skills and competencies.

Aldo Romano has been Full Professor of Innovation Management and President of Scuola Superiore ISUFI at the University of Salento (Lecce, Italy). In acknowledgement of his scientific achievements, Aldo Romano has been awarded the Gold Medal of Merit for Culture, School and Arts from the President of the Italian Republic.
