Dr. Randy Overbeck is a veteran educator who has served children as a middle and high school teacher, a college professor and as a school leader. For more than the three decades, his educational experiences have included responsibilities ranging from senior prom advisor to superintendent. A tireless advocate for literacy instruction, Dr. Overbeck has won state and national awards including the national "Teacher Leader Award" from Reading Recovery Council of North America. He has also served on numerous state and national boards with contacts throughout the U.S.An accomplished writer, he has been published in trade journals, professional texts and newspapers.
